How to deep clean carpet – What you will need
Fabric Conditioner solution (quarter of a cap of fabric softener and the rest of the spray bottle with water)

*Step 1
Clear the room of any moveable furniture. However, if this isn’t possible then clean around the furniture.
- TIP – Empty everything out of the furniture first, because it will make things easier.
This may seem obvious, but drawers and their contents can often be heavy but the contents can easily be removed which make things easier.
- TIP – Try sliding the furniture
If you can, slip some cardboard under the legs of the furniture and then slide it across your carpets because less friction = less unnecessary straining.
Step 2
Sprinkle carpets with bicarbonate of soda, and leave for 30 minutes. This will remove any odours.
Step 3
Hoover the whole room, also including the edges.
Step 4
Spray the carpet with the fabric conditioner/water solution and leave for 10 minutes (perfect for dried food, playdoh etc)
Step 5
Grab your squeegee, and squeegee the whole room!
